Confused and P**ed off

I posted the other day that I was going to come back and post about something else but I can't remember now what it was so I'm a bit confused. Not sure if I ever mentioned that I went to see Harry potter for a 2nd time as a friend had no one else to go with ;-) I enjoyed it much more the 2nd time as I knew what they'd cut out so wasn't left waiting for things to happen as I already knew they didn't lol.

On the subject of the Pissed off bit in the title it is all down to school and more precisely science, it's my least favourite subject anyway so when we are handed back some coursework and not so subtly told they're mostly rubbish and have to improve them and hand it on Friday when I also have an English essay to write out in neat for Thursday, and I don't really understand the science so not sure how to improve it and have to type it all up as it was handwritten in the first place so it takes longer to edit and I also have a trip to York to plan ;-) so I'm a little annoyed but never mind, I think it's more the fact that half the things they are telling us we should have in it they didn't even mention when we did it and surely if they had explained and helped us properly the first time we wouldn't have to be re-doing them now *rollseyes* Anyway I don't like to moan to much but had to complain to someone and no one else in my house will listen without moaning back to me to get on and do it instead of moaning about it lol, infact perhaps that's what I should be doing now*rollseyes* lol.

Music Heaven

The Bedford (www.thebedford.co.uk) has given me the opportunity to discover and listen to many singers and bands but it was because I saw Alistair there that I originally found out about The Bedford. Since then I have been several times but I've been waiting for Alistair to go back there and yesterday he did. I love all his new songs and the other original songs that he sung and the cover at the end. I met many lovely people and had a great time :-). I hope I don't have to wait aslong as I did this time for him to be at the Bedford again though. :-)
ps. I will come back and write more about yesterday and a few other things but I'm tired tonight lol.

Excitement V Nervousness

I have a Gcse science Chemistry exam tomorrow, I've been getting 33/34 out of 36 in most of the practice tests I've done but I'm still worried I won't do well in the real one *rollseyes* However at the same time as being nervous about that I'm very excited. I'm going to see Alistair Griffin at the Bedford (will be the first time since April) and I will also hopefully be able to meet up with many people from his website forum- some I have met before and hopefully some that I haven't :-)
I still haven't decided what to wear though *rollseyes* lol :-)

Pleased and disappointed

This is my review of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and will contain film spoilers so don't read until you've watched the film if you don't want to know anything about it beforehand. I posted my review on a Harry Potter forum (www.leakylounge.com) and have partly copied it over here with a few changes. May well change my view once I see it with for a 2nd time, I'm only going because she hasn't got anyone else to go with, honest ;-).

O.k I'm not going to lie and say it was fantastic. It was very good and I want to go and see it again infact I am either during the week or next Sunday but I was also disappointed. I think the main reason is because I have read the books and also I had really high hopes for this, everyone had said it was brilliant in different reviews from advanced screenings and then it's disappointing when you see as it, it's never going to be perfect and amazing unless it's a 5 or 6 hour film. I understand they have to cut a lot from the book but having read the books I notice everything and they've moved onto another scene and I'm left thinking but what about ... I think this is always going to happen though and the film as just a film and not a book adaption is great especially the special effects. I thought the dragon scene was the best. Voldermort wasn't as I imagined but still good, I've always imagined him being much more creepy and after hearing that it did get quite scary at the end I didn't think so, but I guess that's becaue I knew what was going to happen and I am 16 and it's only a PG12 (although usually I'm a complete scardy cat when it come to scary films lol). I think I've realised I'm mainly into the books and will just treat the films as added extra's which I guess is all they are anyway. I don't think, for me they could ever compare unless they did a 6 hour film which isn't practical even if I would watch it personally lol although maybe not all at once lol. I missed the first bit though - I came into the cinema when they had just arrived at the quidditch world cup and about to go into the tents. I'm presuming they showed more of the dream than we saw later on in the short clips and them all getting the portkey to the World cup but hopefully I'll get to see that when I go again ;-) lol.

I enjoyed the Yule ball stuff and the humour was good, the challenges were also good. I think really the way it's put together let it down for me. I think I need to give it a second watch as it all happened so quick.I did wear a t-shirt I made and although it was obvious most people had read the books and where 'fans' I only saw one person with anything HP related on and that was a girl with a hat and scarf. I'm glad I wore mine though and can't wait for another opportunity to wear it lol.
I thought all the acting was great, especially the trio well all of them really and I think because I'd seen pictures of Moody and got over the fact he wasn't how I first imagined that when I saw him in the film, I'd forgotten that at first I didn't like how he looked and thought he was a great Moddy if that makes sense lol.

In my opinion this film concentrated mainly on humour rather than some of the serious stuff (although that may just be the things I remember most) like Barty crouch junior and I didn't see Ludo bagman in it. Crouch senior's character wasn't really shown in the way I imagined it and I think that the bit in the maze where Harry and Cedric fight to get to the cup wasn't like there characters.

I'm looking forward to buying the DVD when it comes out, I hope it has added/ deleted scenes ect. though.

If anyone else has seen it I would love to hear your thoughts on it, especially anyone who hasn't read the books as I thought it may be a bit hard to follow if you hadn't but I may be wrong.

Just watching the Strictly Come Dancing results ( have got bored of X-Factor now *rollseyes*) Hope Patsy and Anton get through :-)

Edit: Can't believe Will went out, it should not have been those two couples in the last two, Bill or James were the worst. I was really worried Patsy and Anton were going to go home, was pleased they got through but still sad that it was Will that went.

Goblet of Fire

My birthday was cool, didn't do anything much but got some great presents including the Harry Potter Scene it game which I love as I'm into quizzes and things like that and as I'm the only one who is really into Harry Potter although my mum has read some most of the books once I think I may win quite a lot, although that may get boring after awhile lol. On the subject of Harry Potter I am going to see the 4th film (Goblet of fire, hence the title of this post) tomorrow, after seeing the trailer and various clips and reviews I'm quite excited. I've even made a HP related t-shirt (may post a photo of it tomorrow if I get time lol) and my mum kindly knitted me a scarf in the Ravenclaw colours, so I shall hopefully be wearing those and have my great HP badges my dad helped me make somewhere either on my clothes or a bag or maybe even on the scarf. I think it may be quite obvious to anyone where I am going lol. And if all that wasn't exciting enough this time next week I will hopefully be at the Bedford awaiting , be listening or have listened to Alistair griffin hopefully singing a new song :-)

November fun

I'm loving this November, I went out for a nice meal with some family and various other people and it's my birthday tomorrow. I'm looking forward to it, especially opening my cards and presents , I think I have one of them is the Harry Potter Scene it game :-D lol
Also it's only 4 days until I'm off to the cinema to see Goblet of fire and I've decided to make my own Harry Potter related badges and T-shirt design which is fun lol. I seem to have found yet another forum that I spend a lot of time on, my dad reckons I'm sad but I love being a part of forums, it's a great way of getting to know people from lots of different places in this country and even all over the world. I also pick up a lot of information, both useful and not lol, and both sites that I visit regularly (
www.leakylounge.com and www.alistair-griffin.co.uk) have provided me with a lot of laughs which is what I think life should be all about. Fun and happiness :-) :-D !!!

---------------------------------------

I was out for a lot of yesterday evening so I taped Strictly Come Dancing and have so far only watched the main show not the results however I think that it was Dennis who went - I think that prob is fair as he was one of the weaker dancers, I'm not really sure who I want to go next week aslong as it's not Will, Zoe or Patsy, Patsy and Anton to win ;-) !!!

Strictly come dancing vs X-factor

I was into X-factor but I didn't think the right person has been going each week and I can't believe Chico is still in it, I think I now prefer to watch the dancing much better entertainment and not so much unfairness or heart-breaking in it *rollseyes* I want Patsy and Anton to win, as, well I like Anton lol ;-) In x-factor I want either Shayne or Journey South to win but I'm not voting or watching it asmuch as I did last year.

-----------------------------

I'm currently watching live streaming of the Harry Potter and the goblet of fire Premiere in London, they have lots of interviews with many of the cast and I'm very jealous of all the people getting autographs and the fact that'll they'll be watching the film soo, I have to wait until Novmeber 18th lol. I would so love to be an extra or something in the film. lol

A*'s, Harry Potter and fireworks= fun, fun and more fun

I had one of those days where lots of good things happen. The first would be doing my last mock exam and I think it went O.k, I found it easier than my other maths paper which I found out I got a B (4 marks of an A!) in so hopefully this one will be about the same. Also I finished my french coursework (mine was 211 words when we only needed 160 but I did use the impressive sentences in it lol) finding out I got an A* in my I.C.T mock (I like them marking them quickly as I'm so impatient and hate waiting to know lol) and I dumped my boyfriend - I felt bad but atleast I've done it know and don't have to think of excuses to not go out when he comes to call for me *rolleyes* and there are a few T.V programmes I'm looking forward to watching and some stuff my mum had ordered has come and my dad has rung up and ordered tickets to see Harry Potter and the goblet of fire after school on the day it comes out (18th Nov) which is in 14 days. Quite a good day I think lol
Also it's bonfire night tomorrow and I'll probably be going to my local fireworks display and it's the Harry Potter premiere Sunday and although I am tempted to go to it and stand outside screaming madly at all the celebrities but I think I may just stay at home and watch streaming of it on the internet lol. Only one problem I do have a science gcse modular exam to revise for now *rollseyes* lol.
